Michelle Harrison is an established professional consultant and community development leader here in Winnipeg, bringing an extensive background of 28 years of event and project management at the top executive level. Michelle started her career working with aboriginal youth at risk in Manitoba and Alberta and more recently helping develop mentoring programs in her former role as Executive Director of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Winnipeg from 2004 to 2009. In 1983, she founded and established the first wish granting organization for children with terminal illnesses in Canada called the Rainbow Society.
After leaving the organization in 1989, she went on to work in other sectors in non-profit directing and managing marketing, fundraising and events raising over 20 million dollars.
In 1999, Michelle established her own consulting business and she has a proven successful track record working with a variety of clients from business, Aboriginal, Government and NGO organizations. Michelle has recently been brought into the Boivin Group in this new role.
